3. Privacy policy and Data Protection
All personal data given by you is processed separately from this website in a secure manner. Your information is not shared with third parties. All information is treated in accordance to the Data Protection Act 1998.
4. Prices and VAT
Prices on our website are shown in GB Pound (£) and are inclusive of VAT at the 20% rate.
Special offers and promotional prices are indicated with a validity period.
Prices shown exclude home installation, verandas, roofing felt, bitumen shingles, paint, treatment and delivery excluded locations.
Prices exclude delivery to Scotland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Isles, Anglesey, Northern Ireland and Ireland and other areas – quotes to these areas are available on request. Cornwall, Devon, Wales and North M62 additional surcharge.
Delivery charges include all cabin components and associated products such as verandas, wood treatment etc. purchased direct from Cabinville.
5. Before ordering checklist
Before ordering please ensure your are satisfied with our product descriptions and have referred to the considerations to purchasing a log cabin, paying particular attention to;
Planning and building regulations, positioning of your cabin, bases/foundations, delivery restrictions and access, assembly competence, manual handling and safety.

6. Product descriptions
We aim to ensure that the goods you receive match the description and images (if any) shown on this website as far as reasonably possible.
7. Product variations
Our log cabins derive from naturally occurring materials (timber) therefore product variation in colour, timber imperfections, cracks, splits, shakes and warp holes may exist. All timbers are quality checked during production and planed smoothly and inpidual components before dispatch. Please consider this in the purchase process.
8. Dimensions and sizes
All cabin sizes are shown in metric conversions. In some cases dimensions maybe given in imperial measurements. Dimensions given on this website are approximate.
8a. Windows
All windows supplied are tilt and turn and opening inwards and right hand opening.
9. Accepted payment methods
On receipt of your order and deposit, we will confirm , in writing with 5 days of acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us. We accept most credit cards except American Express, an initial deposit of 25% can be paid using a credit card up to a maximum of £1000. The balance is due 7 days prior to delivery by debit card, cheque of electronic transfer of funds. If the balance is paid using a credit card a 3% transaction charge will be applied. In the event of payment not being received in time, delivery will be delayed and will be subject to a re-delivery charge.
10. Telephone orders
If you prefer to make a payment or deposit over the telephone, please contact us with your debit/credit card details. All transactions will be dealt with confidentially.
11. Cancellations
You can cancel an order at anytime if; once the drawings have been approved any changes will be charged and there is no refund policy for custom orders.
We reserve the right to charge you if you decide to cancel your order, without informing us beforehand, when we have attempted to deliver the cabin. In this case, the cost of delivery will be deducted from any refund.
We do not accept missing or broken parts as grounds to cancel an order.
Any returns must be paid by the customer.
12. Returns policy and damaged goods
Our returns policy extends to 7 days after the cabin has been delivered and does not apply to bespoke cabins. If you have a quality or damage issue, please contact us as soon as possible.
We do not offer recompense for time taken from employment or time for fitting or dismantling the cabin whilst being returned. If the delivery has been opened, the customer is responsible for packing all the components securely so it can be transported back to our warehouse safely.
Our tips to ensure you do not need to return a cabin:
Check on delivery the quality and quantity of cabin parts;
Read the instruction manual before assembly;
Keep all the packaging – this helps if the item is to be returned to us;
Take an image on the damaged item or defective component;
Inform us straight away of a quality problem. We will then investigate the problem and offer a resolution, replacement or refund within 3-5 working days after the cabin was delivered;
If you are not planning to assemble the cabin for sometime, or are returning it to us, you must protect it by storing the cabin in a dry area in its original packaging – this will prevent any further damage.
13. Promotional offers and returns
As part of a promotional offer, a product maybe offered at a reduced prices. The promotional period will be clearly shown on this website.
Associated products (such as verandas, paint etc) maybe offered alongside a product (cabin) either free of charge or at a discounted rate alongside a full priced product.
If an associated product is supplied with a main product as a part of a promotional offer, and the main product is returned for any reason, the full amount paid for the main product will be refunded. The associated item must be returned in its original and saleable condition.
14. Warranty
We warrant that our products at the time of delivery correspond in description, quality and workmanship. We do not offer any kind or warrants after any timber component has been used, or the cabin assembled, due to factors that affect the timber itself such as paint, lack of treatment etc.Please ensure that you read our build and maintenance guide before placing an order. Following this guide will help you in the build of your log cabin and the ongoing maintenance required. By placing an order at Cabinville, you are confirming that you have read this build and maintenance guide and agree to accept and following the information and guidance that it provides.
15. Deposits and balance settlement
25% deposit with order and balance 7 days prior to delivery.
Full payments must have cleared into our bank account before delivery.
If outstanding monies, or part of, is not made by the due date, we are entitled to:
a) Require the outstanding balance in advance of delivery, for any goods not previously delivered.
b) Refuse to deliver any order products, in this we do not incur any liability, for non-delivery or any delay in delivery.
c) Terminate the contract.
We reserve the right to alter this deposit policy at any time without notification.
16. Ownership/Risk
When full payment has been made, ownership and the risk of damage and loss is transferred to you. We will not dispatch goods to you until we have received full payment (including VAT) in cleared funds, ownership in the goods remains with us until that point.
You carry all ownership and risk associated with the unloading of the cabin, delivery check and the installation and assembly process. Once a cabin has been unwrapped and the build has started, in law you have accepted the cabin and if a part is missing or damaged, we will either supply from stock or to save time the item can be purchased locally (with Cabinville approval) or we will purchase the item and ask you to collect.
17. Health and Safety
We are not liable or responsible for the health and safety concerned of inpiduals when loading and unloading deliveries, weight transfer, assembling the cabin or working at height. We strongly advise that you seek advice if needed.
18. Production lead time
Our standard models and bespoke models have a lead time of 7 – 8 weeks for production. This lead time does not include transit and delivery to your premises and can vary according to seasonal demand. We will confirm an order the expected lead time and delivery date.
19. Delivery charges – UK addresses
Free delivery refers to most parts of England only. Devon. Wales, Cornwall and North M62 additional charges.
Delivery to locations such as Scotland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Isles, Anglesey, Northern Ireland and Ireland will attract a separate delivery charge due to unavoidable shipping and carriage costs. Charges for these areas will be advised before the order is placed.
Please be aware that delivery costs are incurred from the courier services that we use and cannot be avoided. We are happy to provide a competitive quote for delivery to get your order to you, contact us for details.
Delivery is to roadside only. All deliveries must be signed for. No claims for obvious visual damage will be accepted unless signed for on the delivery note.
20. Delivery charges – Non UK addresses
If you require delivery to a location outside the UK, please email us as soon as possible to arrange delivery.
21. Delivery access and unloading
We use a conventional ridged 12m (36ft) long vehicle to deliver our cabins. All parts require manual lifting from the vehicle itself.
When ordering, you must inform us of any restrictions or obstacles that may affect our delivery vehicles, for example a road restriction, bridge or narrow road. If we are unable to deliver the products due to road restrictions or obstacles which you have not told us about in writing, you are liable for the initial delivery costs and the costs incurred to return the cabin to us or alternative arrangements must be in hand.
We do not accept responsibility for damage incurred to lawns, flower beds, fencing, panelling, driveways, paths or garages when delivering and unloading the cabin.
22. Accepting delivery at your premises
Delivery will be made Monday to Friday 8am – 7pm, you will be contacted prior to the agreed delivery time to finalise details, some models will be delivered on a flat bed vehicle and will need to be un-loaded by hand, the driver will assist with this. Most cabins are off-loaded with a hiab crane. The cabin is made from kiln dried timber and must be covered if it to be stored outside prior to construction and treatment with a moisture regulating stains, this is to prevent moisture/rain from warping, unless you plan to store your cabin inside, you will need tarpaulins. All deliveries must be signed for; no goods will be left without a signature. No claims for obvious visual damage will be accepted unless signed for on the delivery note. Please do not book any fitting labour or commence building until all components have been fully checked and you are happy with the contents. Only one notification of missing/damaged parts will be accepted, any additional requests will be subject to parts and delivery charges.
23. Lead delivery times
Cabins will be delivered after the full amount has cleared into our bank account. Upon order we will give an estimated date to expect delivery to your premises, this time may vary according to seasonal demand.
We will confirm approximately 3 days in advance what date you can expect your cabin to be delivered. We cannot be specific on what time you can expect delivery but we can contact you 1 – 2 hours before arriving at your premises.
We cannot be help responsible or liable for late deliveries, or held liable for any losses, costs or damages incurred by you, or a third party, should delivery be delayed due to factors beyond our control, or factors we are not aware of.
We will make all attempts to notify you, if we understand and have knowledge from the carrier of a delay.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all the components and glass is checked against the delivery note and inventory on arrival.
If you are able to check your order fully at time of delivery, because of restrictions, we ask that you sign the delivery note as “UNCHECKED”.
Please retain all packaging in case of returns.
24. Damaged or missing components
Broken or missing parts does not constitute grounds for refusing or cancelling the order. It is your responsibility to check all glass doors and windows on delivery. If you discover a broken or missing cabin component upon delivery, please give this to the delivery driver and notify us to arrange replacement part.
25. Replacement component
In the rare event a component is missing or broken during transit; we will happily replace it completely free of charge from stock or from the factory.
26. Jurisdiction and Choice of Law
This policy shall be governed by the Law of England and Wales, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
27. Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy

We aim to provide you with a quality service, if however, you feel that you have cause to complain, please contact us. We will try to do our best to solve any problems that arise.
29. Force Majeure
The company shall not be liable in respect of any shortage or failure to supply goods where such shortage of or failure is due to act of God or any other reason beyond the control of the Company in such circumstances will not be liable in respect of any consequential loss to the purchaser.
